Cendol is one type of fresh drink made from rice flour. Cendol usually served with brown sugar syrup or more commonly known as dawet. Sunny day is certainly a very fitting time to enjoy a drink this one, equipped with granueles cendol soft and chewy make this drink more enjoyable.
Cendol usually are found at roadside traders or pitchman. But very rarely do we find a merchant cendol when we want it. Therefore this time I will share how to create cendol complete with the ingredients.
Ingredients :
- 100 gr rice flour
- 50 fr of corn starch
- 350 ml water
- 2 tablespoons water whiting
- 50 ml of the juice of the leaves suji
- Ice water to taste
- Shaved ice cubes to taste
- 200 grams of brown sugar
- 500 ml coconut milk boild
- 150 ml water
1. Makes Cendol :
- Mix rice flour and sago flour and pour some of the water and stir
- Leftover boiled water that has not been used with water whiting, suji leaf water and salt, stir until boiling
- Pour batter flour is mixed with water, stirring until thickened
- Enter the ice water into the basin and on top of already available sieve cendol
- Pour batter into the hot baklava that still water ice sifted and pressed-press to form granules cendol elongated, drained
- Brown sugar boiled with water until boiling and the sugar dissolves
- After a late, brown sugar syrup is filtered so clean
